| Offshoot POOL DESCRIPTION : Applications are accepted for adjunct faculty pools on a continuous ground. If the department has an immediate demand to add candidates to their puddle, they will review applications.If the department does non have an immediate need to add together candidates to their pool, all applications volition remain on file until the demand arises or up to 1 year. If selected for interview, candidates will be invited to interview with a Screening Committee. The Screening Committee may include representatives from the Faculty, the Administration, the Classified Staff, the Associated Students, and the Lath of Trustees.If recommended for the pool, references volition exist checked at whatever point beyond the interview. | Adjunct faculty are responsible for maintaining currency in their field(s) of expertise. Offshoot faculty focus primarily on providing instruction and/or student services. They may exist required to participate in student learning outcomes cess. Adjunct kinesthesia are typically not required to participate in Commune or Department Service such as committee work, evaluations, and hiring committees, merely may be asked to perform these services for boosted compensation. | |
| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | |
| Career Education (non-credit) :Bachelor's Degree AND two years full-fourth dimension (or part-time equivalent) of related experience; OR an Associate's Caste and six years total-time (or part-time equivalent) of related occupational experience related to the subject of the course(south) taught; OR possession of a full-time clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Instruction Credential authorizing instruction in the field of study thing; OR a fully satisfied (Life) California Community College Teacher's Credential in the designated discipline area(s); OR the equivalent.
